During the New Year holidays, Kronstadt was transformed into a winter fairytale setting. Anchor Square became a festive townscape where contemporary multimedia technologies shaped the atmosphere of a Christmas celebration. The event, for which TRIPHAD studio developed part of the visual content, attracted approximately 240,000 visitors.

A projection mapping show on the façade of the Naval Cathedral of St. Nicholas was dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The visuals brought to life imagery inspired by Russia’s traditional crafts and folk art. As part of the project, our team presented two independent visual works.

In the Ice Terem scene, the architecture appeared to freeze in place, becoming covered with intricate ice textures and carved ornamentation inspired by traditional Russian architecture. The visual concept was built around detailed work with ice surfaces and subtle lighting: cold shimmering highlights, depth, and translucency emphasized the volume of the façade and heightened the sense of a fragile, almost jewel-like material.

The Fabergé Cathedral projection transported viewers into a world inspired by the works of the renowned Saint Petersburg master Peter Carl Fabergé. Reimagined in gold, enamel, and precious stones, the cathedral appeared as a monumental jewel box crafted with exquisite precision.

A mapping installation designed in the form of an antique lantern. Thanks to a three-dimensional decorative element placed in the foreground, the content projected onto a rear screen created a strong sense of depth and layered imagery. The glow of the magical lantern brought familiar childhood images to life — from the flicker of fire recalling the warmth of home to New Year miniatures with toys and falling snow. Each scene unfolded as a small, self-contained story filled with warmth.

A photo zone where Christmas scenes intertwine with recognizable views of Kronstadt. The projection created the illusion of shimmering stained glass panels that, like a portal, transported viewers into the atmosphere of a bright winter celebration.
